100-plus years of audio media with an emphasis on the ecstatic, the sorrowful, and hypothetical cosmologies.

How the heck do you folks find such cool tunes?
Great Music, where can we buy it ? I'd love the Zarang "Earth Sessions" but couldn't find available anywhere googling for 20 mins, not available from his site.
The Zerang/Baker thing was on Boxmedia, which I think hasn't really been up to anything in years, and the CD is probably out of print. Just googled and noticed no boxmedia website.... it was run by Brent from TV Pow, could probably email them...
Hi Woody - Just tunied in but Orchestre Regional De Kayes is already making the day better. Thank you sir!
RE: the Baker & Zerang release, it's looks like Jazz Loft has it in stock - no affiliation.. (<http://www.jazzloft.com/p-34709-the-earth-sessions-vols-1-and-2.aspx>)
i love my days off, going to the local library and listening to WFMU. until I get the internet, this is my only time. my day is already better too.
For those interested in Mr. Baker - the following interview may of interest: <http://www.gearwire.com/arp2600-intro-jbaker.html>.
Not even close to first comment! Woo hoo!
Hey Woody....is there any writing or resources for the music you play? i'm interested in how your themes and emphasis.
that last bollywood track is also on the Rough Guide to bollywood music. a great compilation.
Well, I play a lot of different music and there are numerous texts out there related to specific genres.... There are a few good texts covering a larger overview of recorded music. Off the top of my head, I'd recommend John Corbett's book as a more general approach. The Radiotext(e) book also covers various approaches/histories/possibilities of radio.
got any dumitrescu? :)
I miss John Corbett's presence on Writer's Bloc.
-From Monday to Monday and on to Monday.
Woody, thanks for the great music.
