Street interviews, listener call-ins, vinyl gluttery, sporadic normalcy, original floperas and fiktion, blatant talking over songs, politix, tenderness, and a vague undercurrent of angst. Right up your alley!

Artist Track Album Year Format New
This week, I put together a radio narrative science-fiction drama called "Frazier 16." The process: Basically I sat on my couch with my Radio Shack Optimus Micro-Cassette Recorder ($29.95) and made up the story line by line, hitting pause between sentences. As it went on, the sections would get a little longer between pauses. It was an interesting if severely flawed experiment. Hope you enjoy it. I did the "soundtrack" on my cheap Casio keyboard through a Boss delay pedal.

The Frazier 16 is administered. An experimental psychoactive compound designed to access hitherto unexplored regions of the brain associated with possible teleportational capability.

The Turquoise Wall is encountered. A perceived barrier that when penetrated, proves to be a portal to a fantastic world of multi-dimensional sensory experience.

The Invisible Arm signifies the eventual physical and metaphorical breakdown of matter and form which must take place before the oblique realities accessed through the ingestion of Frazier 16 can be navigated and comprehended.

An Indescribeable Nothingness asks you to imagine that which cannot be imagined. To describe what you are unable to cognitively process. To conceptualize that which is not there. What is nothing?

The Gradient Floor is a visualizationary tool for imagining the slow dissolution of matter to anti-matter. Erasing overly-simplistic concepts of black and white. The Gradient Floor is the conceptual destination of Frazier 16's psychic projection targeting. The gray area between dimensions. Micro-Realities.

Immersion In The Wall - Representative of so many things. Questioning, embracing and conquering impossibility. Confronting fear. The process of birth. The act of dying. Exit as entrance. The transition from dark to light. And Turquoise ... possessing its' own poly-spiritual countenance.

The Incremental Opening Of Eyes - The willingness to gradually "see the light" or accept new concepts of reality countered by the fear of "blindness" or immolation as the result.

Soft Gelatinous Curves inside the host organism invoke thoughts of woman and sensuality. There is a freedom from angles and mathematical precision. liberation from the imposed constriction of man's design. . Fear of pleasure.

Quavering And Rumbling Within The Organism - An ever present threatening anger of as yet unknown origin. The great unspoken, always pursuant and feared. Insecurity infiltrates, even within the protective confines of the womb.

Curious Secretion - Plays to the fascination of Sex and Death.

An Ancillary Alcove of Hades - begging the question ... if hell exists ... where does it begin? Is it finite and universal or a concept forged by our own worst fears? Is the waiting room worse than the theatre of pain?

Bad James Mason Impersonation - Somewhere along the line I made a rather schizoid jump from me to a bad quasi-James Mason in the narration. I think i was more inspired by my Golden Records "Time Machine" LP. everything sounds better with a little English accent and mad scientist mania.

Submerged In The Orange Bath Of Contentment - Again, the womb. The warmth. The liquid suspensin. Freedom from care or worry. The bliss that cannot last.

Mad With Rapture - Frazier 16 As A Portal To God - Humanity existing within prescribed boundaries. Are there things we must not know to protect some cosmic blueprint for the maintenance of order? Can forbidden knowledge gained cause our undoing. The definite peril of artificial pleasure.

Minute Parcels Of Psuedo-Reality - Compartmentalized planes of existance. The unproven theory of multi-universes and the possible truth that their actualization is limited only by our own inability to perceive and think them into being.

Passing Through The Color Field - From dark to light. Birth. Death. Illumination. Arrival. Departure. Circuitous existance.

A Pharmaceutical Return To The Land Of All Things Known - Will I ever come down? What if I stay like this?

Thoughts Of The Nurse - When in the grip of uncertainty and terror, escapist thoughts of innocent romantic interaction provide welcome comfort, however momentary.

The Great Horned Beast - Symbol of Fear. Shadow inhabitant. The relentless hunter of weak souls. Fall and be devoured.

Monochromatic Ness - The crippling effect of sameness. The breakdown of sanity itself in the absence of stimulation. Imbalance.

Barriers Of Our Own Design - Mental mountains made impassable by our own imaginations? Flipside: What profound untapped capacities do we possess? Here lies the last vast frontier of infinite promise. We join an early mind pioneer in this episode ...

Swallowing Oneself By Pure Cerebral Power - Summoning resolve and heading out into the great unexplored reaches of self. The numbing sameness of regimented life - seemingly unchangeable, dealt with through imposed metamorphosis.

The Replication Of Events Within - Universal patterns repeated. A Maddening constancy of pattern. Circular motion in all things as one blindly searches for exits. New places revealed to be more of same. Physical limitation.

Corrosive Burn - The wages of sin. Of transgression and ego. Self consumption and immolation. A violation of order. The price of knowledge.

Secrets Kept From Dr. Frazier - An incessant search for self produces its' ultimate result - selfishness. madness. An unwillingness to share the treasure of discovery. The subsequent loss of joy. Alienation. Isolation.

The Turquoise Cocoon - Throughout this tale the ever-present representation of the womb abd rebirth. Doors. A way out! We all need, at times, a way out.

A Subterranean System Of Labyrinths - The proverbial Long and Winding Road. The maze we must navigate in our quest for answers and salvation. Made more difficult by the seeming absence of light to guide our way.

The Excretion Of Self From Self - The completion of a stage of metamorphosis. Evolution into a new state of being. Higher. Lower. But changed.

Dr. Frazier's Interrogation - the doubt and questioning of others can make one shrink into conformity and crumble under dominance or forge strength and esteem through the cementing of belief in self and belief in belief, whatever it may be.

The Privacy Partition Postulation - For the doubters, always a flock to nest with. Safer to disbelieve for them than be thrust into a world beyond their understanding. Let that which is hidden ... remain hidden?

Mastering Cerebral Swallowing - Self-mastery. But are we ... the master ... of ourselves ... ultimately?

A Planned Visitation - Despite its' very premise - born of isolation - madness needs company. Playing out the sycophantic compulsion to vampirize sanity and normalcy ... the unreachable star of the insane.
