And yes, that's the series about a British bureaucracy that fights Lovecraftian brain-sucking horrors from beyond this dimension, and explains how magic is just the result of solving advanced mathematical theorems. Also, Accelerando is a good stand-alone work, though I prefer the first section (originally published as a novella on its own) to the second and third sections.

And yes, that's the series about a British bureaucracy that fights Lovecraftian brain-sucking horrors from beyond this dimension, and explains how magic is just the result of solving advanced mathematical theorems. Also, Accelerando is a good stand-alone work, though I prefer the first section (originally published as a novella on its own) to the second and third sections.
