in 7th grade my best friend's family moved away (probably to get him away from me!)
he came back to visit a year later and as we're hanging out he said "are you a punk?" i said What?! no! you're a punk!
he said no it's a good thing... then proceeded to tell me about this band,"kiss"!
...of course it wasn't long before i figured out that kiss was children's music and not punk at all.

... but he was this close to being a trailblazer in nowheresville,nj.
