Belzer and Ned Beatty were such a great team. I loved that show from the start -- it was the first network show to feature phenomenally talented but not-conventionally-attractive character actors. Belz, Polito, Beatty, Yaphet Kotto, Melissa Leo in men's clothes and no makeup. LOVED IT!
