Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 9:37pm

Bold Venture regularly does this trick, where the transition music from one scene to another, at first, seems like the regular soundtrack music. Then you discover that it's diegetic, and being performed by a character in the story. This happens a lot in the essential film noir, "Out of The Past," and when I see it used elsewhere, I always think of that movie.

I never really worry about Sailor being kidnapped. She's usually a lot more capable than the thugs that seem to haunt Havana.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 9:54pm
Austin Rich:

According to the show, Sailor is just a kid, really; only in her late teens, many early 20s at most. So, considering how young she is, the fact she can keep pace with the seasoned drunk Slate Shannon, and his rough-and-tumble lifestyle... you have to imagine what Sailor's early life was like.

This episode, like a lot of the final episodes of Dimension X, are not great recordings. I believe they came from fan recordings, which are notoriously not high quality. This particular story, and the recording it comes from, also has a lot of skips in it, so it's also a little weird to listen to. I've done my best to improve the audio with some EQ and editing, so that it makes more sense, and the skips aren't too jarring. Still, this one is not the best... bear with me.

I once lived in Eugene in the 90's. Unfortunately, I was exposed to nearly leathal doses of The Grateful Dead. The only way I survived was playing bass in a punk band that screamed about the government. I almost didn't make it.

Oooof. Phish is pretty rough. I only ever went to a Grateful Dead Parking lot situation to... make some purchases. That were easy to make in that parking lot. But I never went in to see the show, because I didn't have $150 per ticket. Seeing those jam bands is just too costly.
