FOTL was houston-based from 1984-85 or so. we tracked a full album, then broke up. one of the band members has the tape and was talking about mixing and mastering it right before the plague hit. not sure if anything's happened on that front or not. i should follow up. it was a fun band.

Of the remaining tracks I could see "Tell Me Why" or "Any Time At All" having been maybe an A-side. "When I Get Home" is too slight and "Things We Said Today," while grrrrrreat, might have been too moody.

But since "Slow Down" was a single stateside, was it a Dave Dexter decision?

"Those other ones don't have enough reverb."

The DaveDexter albums aren't entirely without merit as Compilations. After all - it's all Beatles. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. But they distort the real order & progression in time - the Art is pandering ...it's a kind of History too, but ...I don't have nostalgia for them. Gimme the UK ones as TheBeatles intended.
