	6:36pm Domenico: I should add that I found The Oracle's "Don't Say No" on 45 in a Thrift Store in Blythe, California, near the border of Arizona and California on Interstate 10... out in the middle of the desert... pretty unlikely atmosphere to find a rare Curt record...

	6:49pm Domenico: There was a great Antique Store on Market Street in San Francisco called "Another Time" and it made me think of the song so much on the vintage train cars they had there near Van Ness and Market that, well, Sundazed accidentally sent me two of the Another Time CD, so I stoked the owner with one. She'd never heard of the song.

	7:14pm essbo: I met Curt in '79 at Sounds Good in W LA. I was introduced to him by Ray McCarthy. I got to hang out several times at his apt. in The Oakwood.

	7:16pm Dennis: Curt’s Elektra LP “There’s An Innocent Face”, long a favorite of mine, is rarely discussed, and odd in that little (or none?) of it was written by him…. insights, anyone? (Apologies if I missed any earlier discussion on this thread)

	7:20pm Dennis: I haven’t checked the writing credits in quite a while - gonna look now to see if there are any familiar names (it’s always in my “medium rotation” bin in the living room)
	7:20pm essbo: Here and there there were little tidbits. I really wish I had paid more attention, especially when he spoke abt earlier times. . Those get togethers were very casual. He played me the percapella mix of HCTN at Sounds Good..he talked abt how he made the Beach Boys work their asses off getting those bg vocals down real tight. Oh, and I used Curt on a local radio commercial, recorded at Track Record.

	7:23pm essbo: I did get a very few cassettes that Ray made. Curt had a tape box in his hallway. It contained reel to reels and cassettes of things he had worked on..I did get a very few real goodies from Curt.

	7:42pm Dennis: Mike Fennelly was a clerk at my wife’s neighborhood record store in the mid-‘60s! A year or so after we got married she took me there, and I saw that CSP CD with a Post-it note on the front “Featuring former Music Staff employee Mike Fennelly!!”

Oh, and I used Curt on a local radio commercial, recorded at Track Record.
