Thanks, Aitch!

schedule change alert: "Dimestore Radio Theater" with Austin Rich has moved to a later time, starting tonight. After "Stop Hitting Yourself," the stream rocks for two hours, then it's "Cheek in Tongues," and THEN Dimestore Radio Theater airs.

Hello DJ Greg, Mr. Fab, spacebrother, & G'day Aitch!

Would it be safe to assume Dickie Goodman cannot be far ahead?
Avatar 📖 Swag For Life Member 5:13pm
WR:

Mr Fab, so many ch-ch-ch-changes. All for the good, mostly.
Avatar 5:13pm
spacebrother:

Hey Androu - You are correct, sir!
Avatar 5:14pm
Mr Fab:

These sound like '70s records, actually.
Avatar 📖 Swag For Life Member 5:15pm

Lady Marmalade for sure.

Hey WR!
Avatar 5:16pm

@ Fab - The 1970s was probably the Golden Age of the Break-Ins.
Avatar 5:18pm
spacebrother:

I had about 8 more break-in songs, but they were pretty bad.
Avatar 📖 Swag For Life Member 5:18pm
WR:

This country break-in is great.

Woody Rather!
Avatar 5:22pm

I really liked that the last one had a break-in from Linda Laurie.
Avatar 5:23pm
Mr Fab:

Yeah, "Amborse"! That was unexpected.

had no idea there were so many non-Dickie Goodman break-in records.
Avatar 5:23pm
spacebrother:

It was a real craze.
Avatar 5:25pm
Mr Fab:

THERE he is!
  5:26pm
Androu B.:

Urgh, I was going to say it would be somber now to hear an ONJ song in one of these. I remember this one fondly!

Howdy! My life is flashing before my eyes.

Thanks for this, Greg! I love break-in songs. There were Dutch equivalents on the radio when I grew up. When I was about twelve sometimes I could borrow a second cassette-recorder and I made some of my own.
