Avatar 2:40pm Wild Neil||Peace All:

@Barno-what is the best starter album for Ween? Pure Guava? Something else? I am looking for accessible yet quinitessential? I am a bit of an iconoclast because I don't like early Butthole Surfers (cannot stand it) but I DO like Electric Larryland. I tried to like early B-S but couldn't do it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:41pm Krys O.:

I would suggest Chocolate and Cheese, Wild Neil, but that's just me.
Avatar 2:41pm dan in wisconsin:

@Wild Neil Sorry, I know you didn't ask me, but I'd go with Quebec as a start.
Avatar 2:42pm Picante Mint:

The Mollusk or Chocolate and Cheese would be my recommendation.

Avatar 2:44pm dan in wisconsin:

ohhh. I'm an idiot. I completely forgot momentarily about The Mollusk. That's probably their most cohesive. I mean as one solid idea.

Quebec had a weird effect on me. It made me take a break from weed, it's that good and weird!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:45pm PaulRobeson1922:

@Marie: are you listening to Pseu’s great show! ?
Avatar 2:46pm dan in wisconsin:

White Pepper is phenomenal too, it all depends on what you like, but definitely listen to everything by Ween.
Avatar 2:47pm Picante Mint:

dan in wisconsin how did I forget about White Pepper? There's some good stadium rock sounding tracks on that one.
Avatar 2:47pm Wild Neil||Peace All:

@Krys O interesting title because in the UK they like to say some things are as different as "chalk and cheese"
Thanks for all the Ween suggestions folks!
STOPPING smoking weed was a good move on my part. My very smart friend told me its stupid, so I completely stopped. Glad I did!
Avatar 2:50pm Picante Mint:

Alright last Ween post. I want to live in the alternate universe where Pizza Hut used this in their commercials.

Avatar 2:51pm dan in wisconsin:

I used to live on the Lower East Side in Manhattan (Near Houston St and Avenue B [Clinton St]). I always saw signs for "Yo La Tengo". Because my immediate neighborhood was very Cuban at the time, I just assumed they were some kinda Cuban music. Duh! My loss for ASSUMING. Also, I could have seen Frank Sinatra in Atlantic City back in the 90's but I blew it off. Missed a legend for sure.
