Although, I bet someone will chime in with OTHER examples of hopeful sci-fi...

	🍒 ♥ 6:16pm Chris Crash: I've only ever read the 1st one, but the Foundation series by Asimov is pretty much about a scientist who tries to formulate a plan that spans thru the vast vast future. Every thousand or so years, he'll appear in a prerecorded message to the world leaders and share his mathmatically proven cryptic messages that will ensure world peace. The whole series spans thru millions of years.

Every thousand or so years, he'll appear in a prerecorded message to the world leaders and share his mathmatically proven cryptic messages that will ensure world peace. The whole series spans thru millions of years.
