	♥ 6:17am G: @clarke: Crap. Yeah, as I mentioned at lunch we had that on our street one overnight 2-3 months ago... You know, I got up at 5am Saturday to work here in residential New Orleans, and off the far end of my porch (I live on a corner) there was a gun out about three feet in the street, and two puddles where a driver and passenger had obviously emptied their beer out each of their windows. They must have figured they were going to get pulled over or something. We live on a side residential street (Laurel) that I think people drive down to stay off the main drag (Magazine) where a cop may see them. Anyway, I took a kitchen towel out there, picked the gun up by its handle, and brought it in and sat it on a table by the door. We called the cops to come get it, and man did they get here fast. The guy who took it said there were bullets in the magazine but not one in the chamber. I didn't want to mess with it before he got here.

When he saw the palatial mansion belonging to the Spanish mayor he wondered how he could afford such a house. The Spaniard said; "You see that bridge over there? The EU gave us a grant to build a two-lane bridge, but by building a single lane bridge with traffic lights at either end this house could be built". 	♥ 6:17am G: @clarke: Crap. Yeah, as I mentioned at lunch we had that on our street one overnight 2-3 months ago... You know, I got up at 5am Saturday to work here in residential New Orleans, and off the far end of my porch (I live on a corner) there was a gun out about three feet in the street, and two puddles where a driver and passenger had obviously emptied their beer out each of their windows. They must have figured they were going to get pulled over or something. We live on a side residential street (Laurel) that I think people drive down to stay off the main drag (Magazine) where a cop may see them. Anyway, I took a kitchen towel out there, picked the gun up by its handle, and brought it in and sat it on a table by the door. We called the cops to come get it, and man did they get here fast. The guy who took it said there were bullets in the magazine but not one in the chamber. I didn't want to mess with it before he got here.
