	♥ 10:59am StringOFperils: The (not so great) South African sci-fi film 'District 9' made me think of it. It does present an interesting metaphor for the Apartheid situation as a programmatic extermination of 'bugs' who have arrived to squat there, with their interstellar ship literally hanging in the air and not going anywhere anytime soon. It's a gratingly stupid film otherwise.

I thought a bit and said he looked like a SCUBA diver, not being able to think of a better description and knowing Henry was into SCUBA. Anyway... before they came out, Matt made the greatest drawing on a bar napkin of a band dressed in SCUBA gear. I SO wish I had saved that napkin.

It does present an interesting metaphor for the Apartheid situation as a programmatic extermination of 'bugs' who have arrived to squat there, with their interstellar ship literally hanging in the air and not going anywhere anytime soon.
