From the UK in a big way comes classic DJ, Orange Peel. A transplant from the North of England, stuck in suburban California since the 1960's. He spins scintillating sunshine sixties psych, pop & beat.

Hello David, sw2442 & WLS!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:27pm
Stu Rutherford:

@Woo - My grandmother had a party line back in the '70s and my brother and I did the same as children.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:28pm
David (in London):

Likewise here. Though our neighbours were incredibly dull and sadly their conversations really weren't worth earwigging on.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:30pm
Woo:

The only time the party line was a nuisance was when I was trying to call a radio station to win a record and the line was occupied.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:31pm
Woo:

and I was always trying to win records on the radio. They used to give away a lot of records.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:48pm
David (in London):

I saw them do SF Sorrow live (for the first time ever), in 2001. I was willing to extend them a lot of latitude, but in the end they didn't need it, as they were absolutely amazing. Arthur Brown played the narrator, and the support band was The Soft Boys. Fairly top notch stuff.
