From the UK in a big way comes classic DJ, Orange Peel. A transplant from the North of England, stuck in suburban California since the 1960's. He spins scintillating sunshine sixties psych, pop & beat.

Erica, just a couple of glorious days in Lincoln as well. Rain tomorrow.
Avatar 5:16pm WLSClark:

About 10 years ago, I found this Bats single and it became my fave song temporarily for about a year! It is THAT GOOD!
  5:17pm uptownjen:

It’s a goodie! On my wantlist.
Avatar 5:20pm sw2442:

Avatar 5:24pm sw2442:

Welcome Stu...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:25pm David (in London):

Hello Stu.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:25pm Woo:

As a child I would sometimes listen to conversations on our party line.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:25pm Stu Rutherford:

Hello David, sw2442 & WLS!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:27pm Stu Rutherford:

@Woo - My grandmother had a party line back in the '70s and my brother and I did the same as children.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:28pm David (in London):

Likewise here. Though our neighbours were incredibly dull and sadly their conversations really weren't worth earwigging on.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:30pm Woo:

The only time the party line was a nuisance was when I was trying to call a radio station to win a record and the line was occupied.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:31pm Woo:

and I was always trying to win records on the radio. They used to give away a lot of records.
Avatar 5:38pm WLSClark:

Im ready for another Ready Steady Go show!!!
Avatar 5:39pm WLSClark:

Woo we Besch boys did that too. My brother Steve was an expert winner!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:41pm Woo:

Ain't She Sweet is from 1927 (not this version)
Avatar 5:41pm Erica:

This was back before the Beatles became huge.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:42pm Woo:

WLSClark, and it was all done with a rotary phone! Loved getting DJ promo copies as prizes.
Avatar 5:42pm WLSClark:

ANOTHER classic P&G ORIGINAL tune I love! B side to Woman!
Avatar 5:43pm WLSClark:

Woo, yeah my bro would have numbers dialed up and ready to hit the last digit when time was right.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:45pm David (in London):

All hail the mighty Pretty Things.
Avatar 5:45pm WLSClark:

Spoken like a true Londoner!
Avatar 5:46pm Erica:

60s Pretty Things = The best era.
Avatar 5:47pm WLSClark:

'OLLIES!
Avatar 5:48pm MOM WHIG:

Sorry supper late - storms came here finally gone
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:48pm David (in London):

I saw them do SF Sorrow live (for the first time ever), in 2001. I was willing to extend them a lot of latitude, but in the end they didn't need it, as they were absolutely amazing. Arthur Brown played the narrator, and the support band was The Soft Boys. Fairly top notch stuff.
Avatar 5:48pm MOM WHIG:

Hi WLS, Woo, Erica, uptown jen, David in London, sw2442,
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:49pm David (in London):

I pre-greeted you earlier, MW. Glad you made it.
Avatar 5:50pm MOM WHIG:

oops sorry Stu did not see you here
Avatar 5:51pm Erica:

You'll have to catch this 1st hour in the archives later Mom Whig.
Avatar 5:51pm Erica:

Avatar 5:53pm MOM WHIG:

Avatar 5:54pm WLSClark:
