	♥ 6:56pm Rich in Washington: It's getting closer to Mother's Day. Every Mother's Day weekend we used to do these insanely long Mother's Day/Mothers of Invention (and solo Zappa) marathons on KBOO. One regular participant named Peter would make burnt weeny sandwiches on the sidewalk w/a blowtorch and we'd tell listeners to stop by and get one (and some white port and lemon juice!). It was pretty crazy. Lots of Mother's Nights I have no memory of.
