Extra mayo, always. Also got into dipping fries in mayo thanks to Tarantino. One of the best sandwiches I ever had was a place called Supreme's in Boston, early 90's...chicken cutlet, toasted roll, lettuce, pickles, extra mayo.

In Chicago it's considered gauche/an insult to put ketchup on a hotdog. Apocryphally this is because ketchup was used back in the day to cover up the disgusting taste of the inferior meat in the dog - but now that hotdogs in Chicago are prime-grade beef - there's no need for ketchup.
