My body hurts but my heart is happy. This morning I went hiking in the Arroyo Seco. After passing out in the afternoon, I went to the store and had a discussion about the joys of Spring with my favorite cashier. She seemed like she was in a mood, which isn't like her, so I told her a story about going to The Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco the night before Easter. I had ingested a huge amount of THC beforehand. Misadventure ensued. Her mood seemed to brighten - at least she laughed a lot. The one good thing I did today.

Well, Okay Joe if you insist. Usually I would walk down to The Panhandle and sit on a bench and get high, but on this night since we were going out I decided to eat it instead. As we were walking to The Avalon everything started turning to rubber - very sinister rubber. I wanted to eat dinner before we went inside and started freaking out in the middle of the street because I imagined Chresti and her son were dawdling. Chresti asked me how much I had eaten, I indicated a glob the size of quarter melted in cheese on a cracker. "WHAT!? You know how much I eat?" She put her fingers together to the size of a bean. Two friend of ours were standing in front of The Avalon watching this whole display with big shit eating grins on their faces.

I got to stop now, I'll continue next week.

Big change! today I scored a free surfboard down the street (took a pic with the "free" sign just in case) and brought to the shop for a $50 ding repair. it's all the karma I gathered up from selling stuff for cheap in brooklyn when we were getting ready to move

Maybe I'll have to try Inland Empire again someday. I didn't like it on my first attempt to watch it in the theater but I might not have been in the right frame of mind. I thought the digital video look was too ugly. At the moment it's still my least favorite Lynch but I am open to changing my mind someday. But right now -- hot take, Dune is better, LOL!
