	3:27pm still b/p: Speaking of nostalgia and where one places the fondness flag, Knotts was perfect as Fife, but only inducing MORE eye-rolls (my eyes be TIRED) as the guy on Three's Company. Yoy...ugh. Saw poor Ricky Nelson recently in just an early part of Wackiest Ship in the Navy with Jack Lemmon. Don't know if he redeemed himself as an actor by latter demands of that movie story...but my eyes, there they go, there they GO!

	♥ 3:29pm David Shortell: Yeah, still b/p. Pretty much all Saturday morning toons were cheap inanimate garbage. It irks me that there are modern parents who survived that era, yet instill the same drek on their own kids. Hanna-Barbera was the worst thing that happened to animation (or maybe Filmation).

	♥ 3:44pm Franco Twinkie: David@3:32, I straddled the line. TV in L.A in the sixties was over brimming with cartoons. I liked everything(mostly) Super flat animation can't be quantified as one thing. The modernist era of Warner Brothers still excite me in a very particular way(drugs have something to do with it) But still, value can't be ascribed to visual representation based on realism.(Disney and Tex Avery back round paintings)Hitting someone on the head with a hammer looks great no matter how it's rendered.

Yoy...ugh. Saw poor Ricky Nelson recently in just an early part of Wackiest Ship in the Navy with Jack Lemmon. Don't know if he redeemed himself as an actor by latter demands of that movie story...but my eyes, there they go, there they GO!

It irks me that there are modern parents who survived that era, yet instill the same drek on their own kids. Hanna-Barbera was the worst thing that happened to animation (or maybe Filmation).

The modernist era of Warner Brothers still excite me in a very particular way(drugs have something to do with it) But still, value can't be ascribed to visual representation based on realism.(Disney and Tex Avery back round paintings)Hitting someone on the head with a hammer looks great no matter how it's rendered.
