Was just looking at my copy of Electric Sonata - The electronics were composed and recorded at The Electronic Music Studios of the Swedish Radio in Stockholm. The voices and African lute were recorded in North Uganda in 1967. The musicians played along with the finished tape near Oslo in April 1969. Great lead-off pick, Dafna! That Riley/Baker track was choice as well!

And yes, it may be about computers now, but the age old apprenticeship model holds there. I really think transmission means a lot to Stroppa, but on his terms, for instance (I like the guy, and his students), but sometimes it fails (he called me doctor once, which was not well received, to say the least)
