	♥ 4:25pm G: EJ played two concerts in my high school gym (American School in London) back in about 1973. Was a fundraising thing for the yearbook. Wasn't super super huge quite yet, but was looking to conquer the US with Yellow Brick Road. He was roadtesting the new material on US kids. Kiki Dee opened the second concert.

	♥ 4:27pm David Shortell: I've never seen the 1971 movie "Friends" that Elton John made the music for. There was a sequel, "Paul and Michelle", that I can't find on video at all.

	♥ 4:28pm G: Before the second concert, a boys high school nearby had bought a few tickets and printed a bunch of forgeries. Gym was way overcorwded, things were a little rowdy, EJ asked people to calm down. After the show, kids who worked crew saw the setlist taped to his piano and said he skipped quite a few songs. But it was still a good concert.

I paid for my kids to go see Elton here on the Sunshine Coast and they both loved it, it turned out to be the 2nd to last show of his last tour, because everything else was cancelled by covid - just in time eh.
