But I do understand the appeal of not saying anything until afterwards. Don Joyce, my hero, almost REFUSED to make playlists, and would rarely even tell callers what they were hearing, if they deigned to call and ask. I almost feel an obligation to cite as much as possible, but I have often just wanted to post, "You figure it out," and smile. So yeah, not sure. Other thoughts?

If it's about mystery and intrigue, or if it's about being in some sort of realm of music being all blended into some sort of cosmic unity with itself, then don't do playlists. On the other hand, if it's all about sharing info with people and giving them access to find the music later, then do playlists.

	♥ 8:10pm Franco Twinkie: ARB gave me a mix tape that was totally unmarked. It was at the beginning of the pandemic when everything was so unsettled. I use to drive around in my truck on empty streets listening to the craziest, spookiest music. It was like a funny/bad dream.

She's mixing so much stuff in and repeating and alluding and remixing, but it all does manage to reach the playlist, often with links and more info included. Great radio. Remember to rub beer on it internally, Scotty!

I think it would have been better if we'd gotten a new installment of "Coffee & Cigarettes: The Short Film," every few years (like we were getting), rather than all as one anthology film. Some of those shorts were great. But I probably think about Ghost Dog more often, if I'm honest.

I'm certainly further on the Academic end of the spectrum, but I like the other end a lot, too. Don Bolles shows are both great, for two different and excellent reasons. That guy is on another plane.

Then he came home with a cast. Lucky, indeed!

(Which seems to be the opposite of popular opinion, as I understand it.) I'm waiting for that moment, like when I was 28 and suddenly GOT Joy Division. Like, maybe that happens with Radiohead someday?
