My friend was moving out of a house and drained the waterbed before going to his new house, intending to return the following day to dismantle bed, etc and bring it home. He apparently left the heating element on and it burned the house down overnight. The fire dept. never knew what started it but my friend did. He hated his old landlords anyway.
