I don' think WP is correct about Abbey Road Studios. Here's a page from a book pub'd in 1937, printed in 1942, that refers to the site as Abbey Road Studios: https://babel.hathitrust.org/cgi/pt?id=uc1.b4090968&view=1up&seq=91&skin=2021&q1=%22abbey%20road%22

I don't think Wiki is totally wrong. EMI had a number of studios in London during that time. They were probably referred to by their street locations internally, but the public at large wouldn't know it as Abbey Road until the Beatles' LP.
Avatar 12:10pm

  12:21pm
PT:

Late reply! Children of the Future certainly could have been recorded at Olympic, especially as it was a studio Glyn Johns was comfortable with. However, the SMB were signed to Capitol (owned by EMI), so their London studios would have been at the Miller Band’s disposal. I also sort of remember Ben Sidran’s account of recording Baby’s Calling Me Home with Boz Scaggs at EMI. Wherever Children... was recorded, it’s a landmark album, to these ears anyway. Late reply and a long-ass post!
