It’s allowing my head to momentarily travel elsewhere from this fucked up world ruled by colluding fascists who today showed they’ll stop at nothing to destroy anyone who attempts to shine light on their corrupt machinations. Gonna have to pick up some of this Roland Bocquet stuff if the rest is as sublimely transportative. I’ll just say one more thing. Julian Assange, much like other targeted revolutionaries who blew the whistle on corruption, will absolutely be vindicated by history and go down as one of the most consequential, important figures of the first quarter of the 21st century. Which does nothing for the man today, who’s been subjected to unbelievable mental torture and groundless confinement for over a decade. Music has always been my (our) salve/inspiration. But at some point we’re gonna have to actually do something. Or it’s feudalism with cable tv, with “cell phones that make pancakes and rub your balls,” as George Carlin said. This station and its patrons helps. But we’re gonna have to meet in person in the streets, folks.

Julian Assange, much like other targeted revolutionaries who blew the whistle on corruption, will absolutely be vindicated by history and go down as one of the most consequential, important figures of the first quarter of the 21st century. Which does nothing for the man today, who’s been subjected to unbelievable mental torture and groundless confinement for over a decade. Music has always been my (our) salve/inspiration.
