Once again, the stream robot DJ is kicking my show's ass - I'd much rather sit here and listen to Philemon Wehbe sing "Hamburger"

Thank you kind listeners, whoever you are, for bringing me 40% towards my goal for the October Hellraiser! If you're not a WFMU member we really really want you to be a Swag-For-Life-r. Hit that "Pledge Now" button and we'll whisk you away to another world where a little bit of money that was yours becomes ours, and we are happy again
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:46pm Mr Fab:

Hey all! Wot he said^^ We are halfway thru the Hellraiser already, but if we don't make our goal, we gotta go overtime. And puppies and kitties will cry...

Who’s got yams? Hot yams, tan yams, irony yams?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:45pm MHLee:

This is almost trout mask
Avatar 2:45pm ironybread:

Buddy - "It's a Great Life" is available from the Internet Archive, but the sound is thin. On the other hand there's a copy on YouTube that someone bass-boosted and it sounds just fine (although I had to remove lots of microphone pops) - that's the version I played today
Avatar 2:46pm ironybread:

Hiiiiike!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 2:47pm I k e:

Yes, I enjoy hiking.
Avatar 2:47pm HyperDose:

Howdy, Jan! Miss spending Wednesday mornings with you! Hoping to have more time once I finish with health stuff (I'm fine, just routine things I've put off for the past decade).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:49pm MHLee:

Such a good beat

Avatar 2:52pm Buddy Runyan:

ironybread, that 78 may have multiple EQ versions, but you’re right, the 78s often sound thin on the archive. You can probably get better sounding versions from archive dot org by “tweaking” the audio in an editor.
Avatar 2:54pm Buddy Runyan:

Okay, time to burn the books!
