The weird thing is that in the US anti-mask/vax seems to be a right-wing thing, whereas here it's both far-right and far-left (the latter being the one affecting me, I guess I'm just too old)

Seems to me, if you're vaccinated, risks haven't changed that much, especially in areas with pretty good vaccine acceptance. Risks of serious COVID are still very low for the immunized (not zero, but nothing ever is perfect). There was always the chance of "breakthrough infection). The new Delta wrinkle is that, if you DO get a breakthrough infection, you are contagious-before Delta, it was thought even if you got a breakthrough infection, you didn't pass it on to others. It means you can't assume you can't be exposed even if everyone around is immunized. So more masking does make sense (but your chances of serious infection remain very low.)

@Fred: I used to have some menkos of Kure Kure Takura. (the collectible cards from Japanese childrens shows/comics you won from your friends if you flipped them over w/ a bunch of cards taped together)

In NYC, I didn't wear a mask, but it was assumed everyone was vaxxed (still wore a mask otherwise). Caught two shows on the sidewalk in Billyburg, including Daniel Carter (It felt good to hug him again).
