Hey Polyglot! That Baldwin conversation was very very cool. Thanks!
Avatar 3:28am
Jesse Dorris:

Hey Gurldoggie! It's so great, right? Fucked up ABC refused to air it in 1979, but how lucky we are to finally hear it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:34am
Gurldoggie:

It’s funny, I just saw ‘Summer of Soul’ tonight (which I HIGHLY recommend!) and one of the themes of the movie is the truism that Black history in America is going to be erased. The Baldwin interview seems to be another case in point.
Avatar 3:37am
Jesse Dorris:

Ohhh I haven't seen that yet, very excited to. But yeah, it's a constant battle to resist the erasure of it, the power urging us to forget is so strong.

'Polyglot' has been the soundtrack to my lockdown - great show, Jesse. Just found you as we all got sent home again a couple of weeks ago with COVID-Delta strain hitting Australia. Get up, Ugg boots on, start streaming a 'Polyglot', breakfast and log into work has been my routine for 22 days - a joy!
