So when they reach for the bass clarinet, it is for something special and apart from their usual repertory and performance context. Just speculation on my part.

He requested a Charlie Jackson CD from my label for review but would not allow me to bring the few miles to him. I had to send it to AUM Fidelity in Brooklyn and then they had to send it back to Prattville.
