Hi Jeff and philes!
  12:03am JakeGould:

Welcome to the night, Jeff!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:04am chresti:

It *just* got dark here about 25 minutes ago..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:04am Chop Scott:

Well hello there Jeff!
  12:06am JakeGould:

Five minutes ago the last Friday of the Spring ended. Now the last Saturday of the Spring begin.
  12:07am Robert Tables:

Hey Jeff!
Avatar 12:13am Jeff Moore:

Thank goodness for Very Very Long Songs during which to try to get combobulated.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18am chresti:

I was just thinking how much I like long songs...
Avatar 12:20am Jeff Moore:

@chresti: You're in luck! This 3-hour fill turned into six, so there will be some stretching.

How do the levels sound out there? Working on figuring out the balance between output gain from my laptop and the console slider position. It sounds good in here, but I want it to sound good out there!
  12:28am JakeGould:

Itza good!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31am Scott67:

G'day Jeff & Philes!...not Peter?
  12:34am Glistener MW:

!!! Did I just turn on WFMU to the dulcet tones of Royal City? <3
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:34am Aitch:

  12:35am Glistener MW:

ah, Kings Of Convenience! — similar sound <3
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35am Aitch:

He's gonna play some rasp music later
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39am Scott67:

Aitch, so how is the Penske File coming along?
Avatar 12:39am Jeff Moore:

There, got the right Gwenifers in the right order finally.
Avatar 12:40am Jeff Moore:

WFMU hit...
Avatar 12:42am Jeff Moore:

...which has always reminded me of...

Any guesses?
  12:43am JakeGould:

“Buffalo Gals?”
Avatar 12:44am Jeff Moore:

That's a guess!
Avatar 12:45am Jeff Moore:

Lemme see if I hit this segue the way I want to.

Avatar 12:48am Jeff Moore:

I remember this because I am Old.
Avatar 12:48am Jeff Moore:

So do you.
  12:50am JakeGould:

Yes, we are indeed old aging hipsters. I saw the Tom Tom Club at the Ritz on 54th Street on July 18, 1989.
  12:53am JakeGould:

I just looked it up online, and you know what? I went to the show ONE DAY AFTER David Byrne and Jerry Harrison joined them on stage to play “Psycho Killer” for the last time EVER live as a group.

Day late… Dollar short… 😕 https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/flashback-talking-heads-reunite-at-1989-tom-tom-club-show-46657/
Avatar 12:53am Jeff Moore:

Avatar 12:55am Jeff Moore:

When I was a young asshole (as distinct from the old maybe slightly less egregious asshole I am now), I sniffed at the Tom Tom Club because they weren't Serious Enough.
  12:59am JakeGould:

To be fair there are indeed reasons to have issues with Tom Tom Club and even Talking Heads, but when they hit the mark they hit it well!
  1:01am Hcakes:

You're doing good.
  1:04am headcleaner:

Belated but beloved greetings, Philiistas and Philistos!!!
  1:07am Jocelyn:

We’re having fun too listening to this show! Rich is missing out!
Avatar 1:11am Jeff Moore:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:19am Julie:

six hour show, Jeff? You think you're me? :P
Avatar 1:21am Jeff Moore:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:22am Julie:

I'm glad to see you here at any rate, Jeff!
Avatar 1:27am Jeff Moore:
