Mars was still rising in the east, Jupiter was already past the meridian, and there was a perfect crescent Eid moon setting over Manhattan. I was drinking a cider on a fast-moving boat. In the NYC is going back to normal department: Kate and I went out to dinner last night (second time!) at a place we love and, duh, had not been to in 14 months. We sat outside, on the corner, in Italian WIlliamsburg. About halfway through, a couple walked by, and Kate pointed out that the woman was completely nude except for a shawl that was draped only in front of her. I verified when they walked back by. Just seemed to be going to the bodega for a bomber stark bummed and easy living.
