I remember donkey's years ago, I woke up with an intense earworm (I won't say what it was in order not to pass in the infection, let's just say it was BAD with a capital B_A_D). It was with me for DAYS, until it reached the point where I had to hop in the bus, go into town, find an old copy of the album in a second-hand shop, buy it, take it home and listen to it. It finally did the trick. It was like dying for a pee, and then finally being able to have one. Ahhh, the relief.

For years afterwards, whenever people looked through my record collection they would be like, "Mmm, Can...Miles...Swans...THIS???!!!!"

Soul Mining is just so great that it straddles his first album Burning Blue Soul which was pretty experimental and pop. It's my ideal. They lyrics.... so powerful. Matt Johnson has an amazing way with words
