@melinda, cool, it's such an amazing place! We were there a couple of weeks ago and I recorded those Eiders in a cove on the east side, as far from the highway as I could get

@Aitch the last two decades, it's seemed like drought and fire most of the summers, and then, *boom* a cyclone inudates everything. At least you don't have the as much elevation as Cali where after the fires, the monsoon rains bring mudslides....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:20pm

Today being 5th of the 5th our SBS Television Station shows the 5th Element, 5 times in a row. Starting at 12pm.👍😎

@Scott: 5x5x5, so, 125 times (unfortunately, won't fit in 24 hours).

here, we're entering drought territory for the first time in 15 years, but NOAA expects us to average out in the summer (the summer of '98 down here was horrible for wildfires, the worst fires I've seen in FL) (it was raining flaming branches in our yard, and the fires were 40 km away).
Avatar 8:33pm
K-2SO:

i've yet to finish 5th Element (disagrees with me horribly. while nearing the end of the film upon my first viewing, i stopped the movie in disgust and anger... never looked back
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34pm

Sydney was wreathed in smoke for the last week or so from hazard reduction burns in the mountains behind. Raining now, seems to have cleared it out for the time being.
Avatar 8:34pm
Jesse Kaminsky:

If you don't mind layering it on top of itself ten times or splitting the screen into ten smaller screens you could get roughly 125 plays in a day.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:41pm

It has some flaws spodi, but what Besson film doesn't. It's a visual veg out, but I still crings now & then. Especially when they blow up Tricky.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm
StringOFperils:

It has flying cars, and a pretty lady dressed in a Band-Aid. What more could a socially-isolated science fiction dweeb ask for?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44pm
Summer and Michael and Sylvia:

Another great set, Jesse!
Avatar 8:45pm
K-2SO:

i hear ya, Scott67... there's a lot i like too, (and i like plenty of garbage besides), it just gets me excited in a bad way ... i began reading this earlier to make sure i wasn't alone, and the author points out it's good points before he identifies that which they disliked www.enuffa.com...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50pm

Spodi, I will have a look later. But I can guess they're all the things that bug me too. And another layer of discomfort is added, by out more socially enlightened attitudes today.

Just sounds like my everyday with an Industrial Estate down the road from me.

now you're making me want to finish it, Scott67. I'll let you know if i muster up the courage :)
