A three-hour exploration of excavations from the farthest reaches of humanity's hellish collective brain, through records, tapes, CDs, mostly scoured from country bumpkin thrift stores, creepy charity shops, backwoods junk stores, and even the internet - all mixed live. We don't judge, we just play 'em. Hosted by Rich in Washington.

and FLIPVINS!
it almost did i. - since i got the impression it was not his choice.
...my opinion is that the station manager who, obviously- having a degree in business - is going to be primarily concerned with finances and constant "growth" as a business, should not be the same person as the program director.
someone who wants to stay true to the station's original ideals when it became freeform should be program director; and the station manager should make THAT work ...just as he did when he first took over, and basically saved the station.
there must be plenty of others like me.
most disco songs are a good example. they're not any less vacuous than they were then, yet people who hated it then are ready to shake their collective booty now.
sad.
sometimes, though, it hits me squar between my eyes that i'm hearing juvenile poseur crap.
there's good metal, and then there's most metal.
maybe if disco had come along 10 years sooner i would've liked it. i never liked Michael Jackson either!
it wasn't the music, necessarily, and wasn't the lyrics, *necessarily*... as there was some vital disco.
A stay beautiful my Friends!
