	🦀 ♥ 11:11am Listener Gregory: Correct. It's the theme of the 1961 recording where I hear it. Closer to the original song than Bird's recording (the one I found, anyway).

	🦀 ♥ 11:13am Listener Gregory: PERDIDO?! My memory has churned out that the second part of Nights of Saturn is a break in Perdido before the theme returns on some well-known recording. Maybe Duke or maybe a later bebop one (Mingus? Dizzy?). @Jeff, ditto.
	🦀 ♥ 11:13am doctorjazz: That was early bebop in general. The tale told is that the young bebopers put together really difficult heads to established tunes to keep lesser players out of jam sessions.
