	6:33am The Butterman: I’m with you Deborah, Monday have a whole new suck to them. It’s like teaching for the first time every day. Kids are in my room, kids are at home. They have to hear and see you and what you’re showing on screen, there’s fucking WIRES everywhere, loose dongles, projector screen blacking out if I move my computer too much. Can’t read lips for proper pronunciation ( poor foreign language teachers) And my pencil tip broke when I was doing a demo. I feel like I’m at an acid test.

I keep moving locations, I tried to work in the basement, but it was too cave like, then I moved to my son’s bedroom, but there was something off about that too.so I swung into the spare bedroom and that seems to have hit the spot. I have a good soccer dad chair with some pillows situated on it and the rolling podium I got for my daughter (when I thought she was going to be needing it more as she is a standing fidget , leaning, perching sort of student). Like so many dad gifts, it turns out it was more for me.

The teaching profession has not been given its due under normal circumstances. My late sister worked in NYS education for 40 years, first as a teacher, then as a school librarian. She shared many of her joys and frustrations. I can't imagine what she would think of the trial of 2020 and beyond.

I waved and revved the engine which no doubt got Skip’s attention & perhaps startled him; the look on his face and his motions were spot on of what you’d expect on the set; hysterical.

Probably headed to the studio up on the mountain next to Creations where they did the show. Anyhow, I had no horn in my truck, but it was jacked up and had an exhaust note worthy of ‘horn” status. I waved and revved the engine which no doubt got Skip’s attention & perhaps startled him; the look on his face and his motions were spot on of what you’d expect on the set; hysterical.
