Fuji Puzzle Box should NOT be used with or without informed consent in treatment-resistant major depressive disorder, treatment-resistant catatonia, prolonged or severe mania, or in conditions where "there is a need for rapid, definitive response because of the severity of a psychiatric or medical condition (e.g., when illness is characterized by stupor, marked psychomotor retardation, depressive delusions or hallucinations, or life-threatening physical exhaustion associated with mania)." - FDA Executive Summary. How about minor depressive disorder? Should I wear special glasses? The kind with shutters?
Avatar 1:26pm ironybread:

For minor depressive disorder, simply listen to my show, but invert one of the channels.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:29pm chresti:

I'm listening with a bluetoof speaker, would turning it upside- down work?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:31pm chresti:

  1:56pm Kat in Chicago:

I’ve been turning up the volume for “Penthouse and Pavement” for close to four decades now, and I expect I’ll continue to do so. Enjoying the show!
Avatar 1:56pm solo mon:

And please no spoilers re torch is burning. I need to catch up!!!!
Avatar 1:57pm ironybread:

Hi Kat! Crank it!
Avatar 1:57pm solo mon:

Kat agreed - love the heaven 17. This song is the jam. Did you know Martin Ware produced a lot of the 80s Tina Turner hits too???
Avatar 1:57pm Otis Fodder:

Dear Solo, never. Let's just say, Constance was tough... but which one? Back to bread without irony.
Avatar 1:59pm Otis Fodder:

Hi Kat! Heaven 17 and this cut is a fav as well. Dance party.
Avatar 1:59pm ironybread:

Wow, Discogs sez Ware produced "Private Dancer". DAMN
Avatar 2:01pm solo mon:

When you listen to the album knowing that, it totally makes sense.
Avatar 2:01pm Otis Fodder:

Nice, later Jungle Brothers! Done by the forces is still a top 10 hip hop album in my book.

  2:11pm Kat in Chicago:

1981? It HAS been four decades. Wow.
Avatar 2:12pm ironybread:

I assent to that assertion Martini
Avatar 2:14pm ironybread:

There's a cut on this Whale album that makes a killer mashup with Yes' "Leave It" and I've done a version and it's not great and I wish it were better.
  2:16pm Arvcúken:

I gotta drop out of the puzzle box early today, good tunes so far though! ✌️
Avatar 2:17pm ironybread:

Cheers Arvcúken!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:52pm Ike:

Todd Colby's "Cake" was a bit of a WFMU hit back in the day. Kenny G. loved to play it on "Unpopular Music" or "Hour of Pain" or whatever his show was called. I think some listeners even submitted their own versions IIRC.
Avatar 2:54pm ironybread:

That whole "Word Up" compilation is great - I was at a student station in the early nineties and played "I Am a Closet New Yorker" without listening to it first - was mortified when Sheri-D said "Don't fuck with a fuck!"
Avatar 2:55pm ironybread:

Everybody watch Greenaway's "The Falls" tonight
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:59pm Ike:
