this Jigten is SO beautiful, ethereal yet grounding (if that makes any sense!)
FINALLY had a chance to watch The Tibetan Book of The Dead documentary narrated by Leonard Cohen -- when i first heard about this (early 1990s?) all i could think was how eerie, almost disturbing, it would be to hear Leonard reading The Tibetan Book of The Dead (at the time, i had not realized it was a documentary) . . . but instead i found his narration incredibly soothing, like i wish he HAD recorded an actual reading of The Tibetan Book of The Dead, even if only in English

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Chinese New Year is observed for the entire ~two weeks from New Moon to Full Moon - culminating then with the bright Moon in 'Festival of Lanterns'. A bit like all our Holidays wrapped into one in importance. It must feel very odd for those whom it is traditional to social distance - as it usually involves contintuous firecrackers & such. Altho other aspects are more private & family-oriented.
