I'm having my vinyl warm-up hour, so I might miss the first song or so - yet that won't stop me from saying HELLO to julie & other souls of the dark night.
Avatar 2:37pm
Julie:

okay Cha Cha see you soon!! What's in your warmup today?
Avatar 2:46pm
Photocopy Cha Cha 2000:

Roxy Music's albums "Manifesto" (side two only - actually called "west side") and "Flesh & Blood", Laura Nyro's 1st album & 10cc's "Sheet Music", the b-side of which is on as we speak. Sorry, I simply am horribly old-fashioned - even if you listen to one side only, you listen to it until its over (unless the music is horrible garbage), so therefore I might miss the song you start the show with :(
Avatar 2:48pm
Photocopy Cha Cha 2000:

And the warm-up hour playlist must be: whole albums, from my personal vinyl collection and most importantly, artists you have played on this show.

I had a mishap at the house. Broken pipes. What a MESS. I got really lucky though, no real water damage just an open wall where the plumber had to get in.

An old house, too, in these parts, 1910. Got the plumbing fixed right away, but took some time to patch the ceiling. Had a nice view of the lath and plaster guts of this place.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:47pm

A track called "Breathe" is on the 1970 album by Roger Waters and Ron

A buddy of mine now and then sends me CDrs of hours of recordings of Genesis outtakes. Perversely, sometimes I find I enjoy bootlegs--bad sonic quality, photocopied paper covers--more than official releases. This is often the case with Genesis. Technically, a bhut jolokia. The second hottest pepper. I also grew carolina reapers, the hottest pepper. There's a youtube video of me when I was a ghost pepper noob, and it kicked my ass (it's rather funny, my partner is laughing at me). My friend who won, stayed most of the day in the bathroom. Kate had a class where some students in the back kept leaving and coming back and leaving and coming back. They didn't disrupt the class, really, but she noticed. Afterward they and the classroom teacher came up to apologize. They had dared one another to eat ghost peppers and were going out in the hall to throw up. I admire them so much. Another thought to file away: negative energy. Unwoman, Antibalas, No (FX, Doubt, etc.). Anything that denies.

Thanks, Julie. So glad to have caught part of the show. Feeling much better now that I'm out of the cruel day and into the Dark Night.

Be well, Dark Ones. Glad to see you here, where the only light is all of us.
