Freeform radio for the chronically impatient. Avant-garde pop, poppy avant-garde, teutonic thump thump, loud guitars and guttural screaming. Playlists and photos posted in real time on the web so you can play along or comment at home or work.

You mean the bit about fleshpots of Modern-day Suburbia? I thought you guys were related.

Yes, and yes.

TDK: It's about the Arauco war, an uprising by the Mapuche in Chile against Spanish rule. The album came out in '82, but since it seems the songs were recorded earlier, I'd guess that it's motivated at least in part by the Pinochet coup. I'll do a translation once I'm caffeinated enough and email it if you want.
Handy: As with ever Bonny Prince Billy song, it's ultimately about how he's the true Stuart claimant to the British throne.
Look at that one dude with the atheist women. "Sure I hate religions! All of 'em! Whatever you say, ladies!"
Violeta Parra was way dead by the time of the Pinochet coup.
Fะ Fะ (: Yeah, I haven't read through the whole thing, but the lyrics seem to invoke figures from Chilean history and folklore. The general sentiment is to arise and throw off the yoke of tyranny.
Or something like that
But I am a simple man.

Fะ Fะ (: I meant that the Pinochet coup might have been on Wyatt's mind when he recorded the song.
Hospital morphine
Not necessarily rectal cancer—it easily could be a preëxisting minor bleed exacerbated by spasms and diarrhœa resulting from food poisoning—but something that really needs looking-after,and her country needs a National Health or some system like that of France (and Germany and Japan and Israel, basically a supercharged A.C.A.) because this can happen to anyone, including John Galt.
Yes, I also did the Wong-Baker faces chart too.
@dave: Haha! If I could clicky-star a comment I would
Yes. There are mapuche words in there like huescufe, ruca o cultrún. As you say, overall it's a song against colonialism with a suprising ending.
Handy: I knew I was getting old when my main questions when rewatching Star Wars became things like: "Where are the bathrooms on the Falcon?" and "Don't they ever shower/change clothes?"
It's Talking Egg Jr continuing the legacy!

Ike: My stepmom has Crohn's, it's a horrible condition. She's lucky if she can keep herself at 100 pounds. She told me once that a normal morning is one where she only has to go to the toilet six times in the first hour after waking up. She has to know where the bathrooms are everywhere she goes. She's always carried on like a champ though.
"AC/WC"
If you haven't checked already Irwin has several Moondog radio specials with some Viking of the 6th avenue biographer/pundit. They are all in his archives.
That"s what I'll be playing Friday. I have his essential discography on mp3.
Sorry, maybe my memory is off a bit. Yes, your probably right, because I remember that Glenn Frey passed away 8 days after Bowie, which I believe was on the 10th (again, correct me if I'm wrong).
I think. I don't actually know how to ride a bike.
No, this is something related to Labour. He was canvassing in Brixton that day and he arrived in a big red bus.
Be well, Freed Forms! Catch youse later.

I have listened to this song for so many times I don't even remember what is Earth's shape. It really messes your belif systems.
I vouch for what the Aborigines claim about their own people; they must be from another planet, because everything about Australia progresses in the opposite way that things progress here in the States.
Yes, but I'm starting to see a pattern here. No surprise though as good things in life come in pairs! David and Wing!
TDK - Moondog's grave is at the far end of the main city cemetery, It's a very pleasant spot by a wabi sabi old wall. We planted a little sunflower on the grave for the 100th anniversary of his birth.
You must pick one or the other
Thanks, Talking Egg Jr, Ken and friends! Great music, GIFs and diarrhea stories! Till next episode ! Take care and remember, loosen up and BE HAPPY!!!
There's an interesting story relating to that about the first British ships to arrive to the continent. I might recount it to you next week.
Bye all!
