Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

That SHOES album is a total classic. That, and material by The Choir...think I found that stuff thru the first Best of BOMP! collection back in the 80s. Vocal bliss.

Pop quiz: Two saxophonists, a clarinetist, a timpanist, four conga players, an oboist, a bass drum player, and an English horn player occupy a room. There are five reed players.

Give the drummer sum.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:50pm Uncle Michael:

This is such a GREAT DC5 record.
  2:51pm Dean:

I'm partial to Kick Out the Jads.

Remember seeing the trailer for Catch Us If You Can, the 1965 film...musta been between Tarzan movies on A Saturday afternoon.
Avatar 2:52pm Brian in UK:

  2:52pm dan:
