I turned on the little sound wave visualizer thingies in Winamp for perhaps the first time ever in one of my shows, this time. Otherwise it was hopeless to figure out which one was which after a while. Usually I have great spacial memory on my screen filled with players, but these are all totally abstract.

His father had served for Germany in WWI. After the Nazis put the foreman in charge of his fathers upholstery shop, his family sent him Out of Germany in the Kindertransport at age 13. Last time he saw any of his family was 1938.
