Personal statement:

I started listening to WFMU around 1980 and was obsessively hooked by R. Stevie Moore, Vanilla Bean, Jim Price, et al. Then I moved to Portland ME in ‘86 and tried to bring the Freeform vibe to Portland community radio WMPG (90.9 FM - wmpg.org). We’re doing pretty well but still can’t touch the genius of WMFU!
