not that that Dottie song in and of itself was bad but the inclusion of that tot's singing was ill-advisedly wondrous.

I notice it's going up and down and is currently skewed a bit to the left channel.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:26pm

can someone verify? I am seeing a left bias on one mixer channel but right on another (I have stream coming from two sources on different faders on my system for reasons too stupid to explain here). I think I have one mix channel reversed.
Avatar 3:28pm

@Rich: There was a punk guy in Germany in the 80s who called himself "The real Heino" with blond wig and glasses - he was successfully sued by Heino
Avatar 3:29pm

Confirmed. Left channel 80%... Right at about 10%... Heino takes the other 10% for his tribute.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:29pm

Yeah, and they packed to courtroom with Heinos! I think it's in the Heino documentary Made In Germany(?)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:30pm

An All-Heino-Aloha-Friday could work. You are lost at sea. You find land. A small patch of sand in the sea. The only other living soul is Heino and he has a solar-powered-boombox and a bag of cassettes. Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life.

I just hope he keeps his sunglasses on. There's that one video where he takes them off on stage with like 100 Heino's it seems on stage with him. Or maybe I am having another daymare.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38pm

Yeah, PK, whenever I post, mention or play Heino, my friends in Germany and adjacent countries are horrified, bemused, etc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:39pm

We're not so keen on nazi-outings here in Europe. Especially in Germany they are very strict with measures. Even model WW2 airplanes aren't allowed swastika decals in Germany.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:50pm

@zivilars: I mean you heard of them?
Avatar 3:53pm
zivilars:

@Paper Kosmonaut: Now that you mention it it's ringing somewhere in my head, but I can't put my finger on the details ... I'll have to google for that. There definitely was controversy about Heino and his songs in Nazi cirles, as you've mentioned, though – that I am sure about.
