Just finished, haven't had one of those yet (closed mri), man, terrible, endless test. If you ever need one (the closed, whole body kind), I recommend learning/practicing meditation. I think you that's what got me through without asking for a break.

I'm not so claustrophobic, but that can make one claustrophobic. And, it was ordered for lower back pain-it required lying on my back on exactly the spot that hurts. Just did my breathing, counted/focused on my breathing, I think it really helped.

@BiUK, nope! They gave me headphones that I assume was to block out some of the noise (didn't seem to, but I didn't try with them off), but no music (20 years ago I had an mri of my knee, not as bad. First, only the one goes in the machine. And they did let me bring music to listen to.
