Malayalam, one of the palindromic languages. Well, the name at least. Be interesting to hear a language where every word is a palindrome though. Where's Borges when you need him?
  7:21pm
Listener Robert:

You say he eventually tested negative. Did he ever test positive for SARS-CoV2?
  7:24pm
Listener Robert:

I'm very concerned about the issue of diagnosis of these infections. If he'd already been confirmed as having the virus, I don't see what the point would've been of seeing when he'd cleared the virus or determining viral load; there are better ways of deciding how to treat an infection, especially when there's no treatment specific for it.

oh gosh -- i hope all is well with Kate! and that whatever was going on could be fixed right away!
(yes, tooth pain is the worst! gotta go for a "consultation" for a possible root canal next week, waiting is no fun)

Thanks, ultradamno.

Other than for research purposes, the only reason I can think of for subsequent testing of someone who was SARS-CoV2+ and still sick would be if he were receiving hyperimmune serum (convalescent plasma).
Avatar 7:30pm
spodiodi:

slugluv1313, i wish you well... my only root canal did not go well. and i've since sen a documentary that basically points out how root canals are inherently BIG problem . if i can recall the name of the doc, i'll let you know, so you can decide for yourself. TL;DR: root canals kill.

the ADA ain't nothing to mess with (i've had dentists whisper the same to me, but mostly related to 'silver' fillings
Avatar 7:39pm
slugluv1313:

thanks, spodi!
yeah, the stuff i was reading was basically saying that often they do not go well -- like all the infection is not removed, etc. -- and being on medicaid, i am not optimistic :(
my Mom's teeth were in such bad shape, that when my Dad finally got a dental plan at his job (this was in the 70s), we all went to the dentist -- and not only did my Mom have a cavity in every tooth, but she was supposed to get three root canals -- she ended up getting only one (not sure if this was her choice? or if insurance did not cover everything? and my Dad was too cheap to pay?)
so -- this is why i am hoping all is well with Kate, and that she is able to get decent dental care!!!

slugluv1313, again, i say good luck! my dad had all his teeth yanked when he was... maybe 60? (too young to take them all, imho -- but he felt like that was his best, affordable option *sigh* what a world we live in)
