Yes, here in Zwolle we have an exceptional warm and sunny september, not too warm though except for yesterday, :-)

Wassup, Domenic! We debuted a new show yesterday called "Maraschino Melancholy" - it def has a lounge/tiki vibe to it I'm sure you'll dig.

Domenic:

Came across WFMU in this pdf about community radio station governance. www.prometheusradio.org...
Avatar 12:44pm
Domenic:

page 19...WFMU is apparently "Highly Structured"
Avatar 12:45pm
worldsworstrecords:

haha... quite unlike the unstructured chaos of Sheena's Jungle Room
Avatar 12:47pm
Mr Fab:

And we're an "educational station"? Well...i do learn a lot about obscure old records here...
Avatar 12:50pm
Domenic:

"educational" should be in parenthesis LOL this is a great document about suggestions on how to organize a radio station. We have a low power staion in my city that's "single rule" a small group of us are trying to work with the Mayor to make it more democratic. its the same old story. people love power..
Avatar 12:50pm
Otisss Fodderrr:

Thanks Domenic, reading now. From my humble experience and respect for other stations I have worked at, WFMU is so, so, so very highly structured.
Avatar 12:54pm
Otisss Fodderrr:

Or rather structured... I'll say Highly Evolved.
Avatar 12:55pm

Sheena stepped into the show for a minute here and put on Tielman Brothers. Go Jungle room, go!
Avatar 1:13pm
Mr Fab:

Yeah, pretty sure "Tahiti Jungle" was "Hawaiian War Chant"? Or one of those exotic standards.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Yes, don't know why they called it that way. I double cheked it. Last week I played the live version and that had the right title on the booklet.
