From Vradiazei's website: The realization that the darkest days are yet to come inspired us to abandon the use of electricity in our music. We express the anguish of the past, the desperation of the present, and the uncertainty of the future without it. When the world is left in ruin our sound will echo in the empty streets.

Well I can report to any Amazon music app users, the lovely Jeff Miller tune from earlier isn’t there. As soon as the song ended I went searching; rabbit hole situation, in that the fmu app stops playing when opening the other.. so I went nuts listening to bits of his other stuff... to see if it was indeed the same artist.
Or, it is there but I haven’t had enough coffee.

Far far too long between times I sit with acoustics with another person. That is a particular communion.
The holy box with wires is indeed quite a generator of timbres & incidental noise.
Good Saturn'sday everyone. Nod to Rooth in the Booth!
Moody Luna Moon in impulsive Aries this weekend - though lovely Venus has entered nurturing Cancer til 6th Sept.
Later today Luna will make a flowing 120° Trine with the fiery Sun in willful Leo - briefly putting Lunar moods in harmony with Solar egos
- but early Sunday Luna joins red Mars who is in the warrior's own sign of Aries for a very long time - then makes challenging 90° Squares to both deep Pluto & serious Saturn both in Saturn's own earthy authoritative sign of Capricorn in these heavy times
- before going into stable Taurus late on Sunday (where Luna is said to be 'exalted'...)

deborah...most of us don't understand it. The Senate has the power to stop progressive legislation. The Supreme Court is worrisome, (but less so of late, amazingly), the federal courts have been stuffed with Republican appointees, and the Democrats are either afraid, or think they can compromise with the idiots across the aisle.

Joe Mulligan:

USPS always underpromises and overdelivers - if they say 3-5 days you’ll often get your package in 2-3 days. UPS and FedEx tells you 3-5 days and you get it in 5, not one day earlier. True capitalism would normally reward that, which shows classic bias against government owned business

Great show this morning Jeffrey and hi all!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:09am

Joe Mulligan, good morning. I also am a fan of the USPS. No one is perfect, certainly not UPS or FedEx either, but with the USPS, if one thing goes missing, which seldom happens, it's seen as a sign of systemic breakdown rather than an anomaly.

@PR1920: Re "idiot": Have you ever read that essay by Philip Dick where he explains about the "koinos kosmos" and the "idios kosmos"? I read it forever ago and it really stuck with me.
