dr.j having owned no dremel for most of my life i've always done what Brian said. drill it out. pretty easy. you may not need it for this but a screw extractor set is a very good tool to have around.

i also must reupholster a chair, some day. it's a sturdy wooden chair that's collapsible. i picked it from a junk pile. it's funny because it's folded width is around 12" thick. it barely takes any less space folded than it does open.
