This track is a total winner in my book.

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Very Ambient today. Moon in Taurus perhaps.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 9:11pm
BLCKDGRD:

I'm going with the DJ already had his setlist

John Purcell:

The ylt track is so good. Hope we see more releases like that from them.

yippie:

why were the last 2 words of abandoned love cut out ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:28pm
zzz:

really beautiful gordon stone tune. RIP
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:29pm
jj.:

my understanding is that the new welch/rawlings album was made on an actual reel to reel in their living room, i assume the tape ran out or something of the sort.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:35pm
Yes:

Sweet tunes

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

'Meeting by the River' done in Santa Barbara when I lived there. Wonderful to hear it again.

yippie:

wow

It’s amazing that these broadcasts aren’t more jacked up - kudos to Scott and Jesse

Hello.

Barbara:

Good choice, perfect timing

The Beach Boys are perhaps just barely fit to carry Julianna Barwick’s spittoon. Should she wish, she can cast a voice spell transforming them into horned toads for her amusement.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:07pm
mariano:

Love this Dimorphodons - the song and the name!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:08pm
mariano:

Very early-Floyd.
Avatar 10:13pm
TDK60:

You can even dance the frug to Branca.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:14pm
mariano:

Reminds me a bit of "The World Looks Red"... although Branca wasn't with SY at that point iirc.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15pm
jj.:

branca was never with SY, though lee & thurston played in various branca ensembles in the early '80s.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20pm
mariano:

Wait, what? This effin' brain of mine, I could've sworn he was with them for an album. I don't know how I come up with these things. For years I thought XTC was Australian.
Avatar 10:20pm
TDK60:

a marvelous maelstrom.
Avatar 10:25pm
TDK60:

Mariano, then you soon learned XTC were Swindonian?
  10:26pm
Carmichael:

Heya Jesse and freaks.
  10:36pm
Carmichael:

@mariano, it’s cool that you have your own planet. Seriously.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:36pm
mariano:

TDK: Well, actually, then I went through a spell where I thought they were Danish. Ok, maybe not - but I didn't know they were specifically from Swindon till you just wrote that. A while back I found this website ilivehere.co.uk which is all Brits dumping on their own and others' towns, some of them are pretty funny. The Swindon entries aren't that funny, but here's the entry for Harpurhey: www.ilivehere.co.uk...
Avatar 10:39pm
TDK60:

Thanks Mariano, looks funny.
Avatar 10:41pm
TDK60:

Jesse, You're kidding me! Louis A. did a version of this?! Really? It does sound like Leon Thomas is here too (who sang it with Pharaoh Sanders). Louis had an open mind..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:42pm
mariano:

Oh yeah, TDK - someone, maybe JJ, played it a while back, I had the same reaction. Someone made one of the funniest quips, forget who: "And I think to myself, what a masterful plan..."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:42pm
mariano:

Haha Carmichael! If only...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:43pm
jj.:

it really does sound like something that could've been made with an AI version of his voice, but it's as real as the berenstein bears.
Avatar 11:01pm
TDK60:

Hi Scott in the Radio office towers. Tina can do country. Of course, why not?
  11:21pm
Ignore Function:

The next Sonny album is supposed to be a country record and I can't wait.
Avatar 11:21pm
TDK60:

Off to bed, thanks Jesse. Night all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:22pm
jj.:

night @TDK60, thanks for hanging!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:22pm
jj.:

and wow @ignore, that's intriguing, for sure.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23pm
mariano:

'Night TDK, dream of Swindon... ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:24pm
mariano:

Wow, this Gary Olson song is great - love the horns.
  11:24pm
Ignore Function:

Not sure how soon to expect it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:01am

Thank you!
