Clint Takeda who is the bass player in Bardo Pond, had a show on KCBS, the radio station of UC Santa Barbara called Mumbo Jumbo, with his friend Tony Ozuna in the late 80's early 90's. They asked me to come on as a guest to play all my thrift store records. The experience warped me in ways I am still dealing with...in a good way! After the show, we went out for Mexican food on Milpas Street, when Santa Barbara still had a barrio. I love you Clint! You started a fire that has never gone out.
